Please observe the following guidelines as they help ensure a useful community resource :

1. Posts must be made in the relevant category, with a relevant title. Please check for existing threads on the topic of interest before starting a new topic.

2. Please keep "on topic" when contributing to a thread. This keeps the discussion focused. Post a new topic to discuss other issues.

3. Do not cross post, i.e. the same post in multiple areas of the forum.

4. Keep things friendly. Debate is welcome and encouraged but "ad hominem" arguments are not permitted:

Attack the issue, not the person. Flaming or abusing community members in any way will not be tolerated. Don't let a single line in an otherwise useful post be the cause of your entire post being deleted by community moderators. Before hitting the submit button, please consider the tone of your message and how it may be interpreted by others.

5. Avoid straw man arguments and other fallacies when debating topics - this helps to maintain the quality of the information for others who will be reading the thread and helps to keep discussions friendly and on-topic:

8. The copyright of others must be respected. Publishing of copyright material is prohibited.

9. Renewablelogic reserves the right to edit, remove or put on moderation queue any post at any time.

10. Advertising is not permitted in these forums.

11. Members who are involved in the renewable energy or competing industries must not pose as or give the impression of just being consumers/interested parties when participating in discussions.
